In light of all the bad press car modification has received in the GTA the last couple of days, it's nice to see an article written from the other side... or at least closer to the other side.

I find it funny that right beside the article, is an animated ad for the new Honda Accord. At first I thought it was an accompanying story photograph.

i just read the article.
I must admit, im pretty satisfied that they finally took the anti-naive approach that all modified cars are infact NOT raced

Totally agree. Kinda sucks that a movie would cause such a ruckus. There has always been street racers and stupid accidents, ppl now become more aware for every accident. Street racing accidents didn't just start happening now. Yes the movie might have provoked some of those street racers, but nailing every modded car seems too harsh.

please, its not a movie.
street racing has been around for decades.
man... do any of you REMEMBER when jane&finch and gore road were the PLACE TO BE for drag/street racing? it was worse before then it is now.

Go out and buy the paper...above that article is a thing called "The cost of modifying a car" they said and I qoute "Nitrous Oxide: cost-> about $100 per tank(normally used for one shot) A tank with connection lines runs about $800
umm...so a 10lb bottle of spray last one run..umm..nice..
