Really tried to paint everything, for an overall fresh look.

New radiator was necessary as the old one was leaking and full of rust.

Set up my catch can, running this because my PCV clogged within 2 weeks of cleaning it every time.

A friend drew these for me, going to get them framed to hang in my room.

How do you like that pomade?
My room is also filled with shoes :)
Haha I actually love it, super easy to wash out, great hold, they also make a firme hold version which holds even better, it's definitely my favorite currently. I used to be a manager at the vans store in a local mall so I have about 100 pairs of vans lol

Same here! I do like the firme hold compared to the regular one. Currently I'm using Johnny B's but overall I like American crew's pomade.

Awesome, awesome work on everything man :)

So awesome stuff in here

I was able to do a test fit over the weekend of the wheels with the new lips, pretty happy over all, so ill bolt them together and seal them up tomorrow, should have them on the car in the next few days.

Also fitted my 70mm spoon fed lip yesterday.

Some awesome work going on in here! I've got a Euro tan seatbelt setup as well that I've squirreled away. I'm hoarding parts until one day I'll have the time to put it all together. Might even do a build thread.

Thanks man, I really never planned on doing one and now I'm kinda bummed I didn't bc there's so much that happened that I missed, so many pictures I've since lost, it would've been nice to have documented everything along the way, with details and pictures of everything

How are you liking the 3" exhaust? Are you running a Cat? How's drone?

I know Louis was not a fan of the 3" without a turbo or Cat to muffle the drone/noise.
i love the 3 inch, sounds like my old rusty POS exhaust, but little to no drone, its loud but that doesn't bother me. No cat just a test pipe, i dealt with one of the worst drones with my old exhaust so maybe thats why i dont mind it? idk lol

Now THAT'S restoration at its finest!

Those pictures of the heads inject a cold fear in me.
Whats the cause of that? jumped timing?

I have always feared that since i slapped the vortech S/C on my vr6....
It seems that the cause was a bad valve was in the head, and with the addition of the HD springs and high duration cams, that the valve just snapped at the guide. I thought they were going to put new valves in, but I found out afterwards that they didn't replace all of them.

and thanks buddy, glad people can appreciate the time, effort and the money spent lol this project has been quite rough on me and my wallet, I can't lie I've gotten super bummed out a few times and almost gave up, but I just keep trying to make sure it's going to run really good, and reliably, so I don't have as much down time as I did, car didn't run for about a year
