This year was a blast. Made it to some of the bigger shows, made some new friends, and got some seat time in at the track. Stoked on the coverage it got. Kind of bummed I had to cut the season a bit short due to a PS rack issue but at least it gives me more wrench time going into next season.

Now for the whoring

Last wash of the season before I put it up on the jack stands.

Euro Hangar was a blast. Beyond stoked that Mike(tattoo24v) choose my car for the Top 15! Was not expecting that at all.

Thanks guys:beer:

gonna miss seeing pics of this for the next few months
loved seeing this car pop up on the front page as often as it did this year, can't wait to see what comes after winter
It will be around. My build thread will pop up from time to time over the next couple months:beer:

Nice meeting you at eurohanger briefly. Your car makes me want to set my car up for track use. Definitely a favorite of mine.
You too:beer: I plan on attending again next year for sure:thumbup:

This car is legit. Is it still NA? I like your Motorsport theme but seems as if it should have some extra beef under the hood. Of course, I'm only going by what I can see in these pics.
Thanks. Yes its staying NA. For track purposes a BT would be a waste. If it was a drag car it would be one thing but at my local road course I dont even use 5th gear. Common misconception with track cars is that have to have some crazy horse power. Are they out there, sure. Would it be awesome, yes:laugh: but any one thats been around a race track for any amount of time will tell you to put the $ into the suspension and thats exactly what Im doing. I dont have a whole lot right now, mainly bushings and mounts but the last track day I did I was lapping a few Porsches. Eventually I plan on putting more into the motor. That was the one bad thing when I did my VR swap. I had a decent amount of motor work done to the TDI that was in it and was starting over with the vr motor. Compared to a normal GTI/Golf is a whole lot lighter. There isnt really much more I can take out of it:laugh: Plus Im still a novice when it comes to the track. Would like the car to evolve as I evolve as a driver:beer:
