Me and a few friends have taken our shifters out on the road on a good few occasions. We also live in rural farmland though. It's a ton of fun but you destroy tires very , very quickly.

That was AWESOME.
It looks like the guy at 5.56 tried to stop him. Which makes me think he must be the uptight self appointed neighborhood watch dweeb. And having lived right next to that guy before, it was even more awesome when the driver blew by without stopping.

I can see it already. Downtown Hong Kong, neighborhood in the suburbs of DC, In the Favela in Rio.
Thats would be awesome to watch with pro drivers and shifter karts.
EDIT - BTW, are there any Karting timed events? Special Stage type events?
I raced Formula Y for a few years, never heard of something like that. Would be pretty cool.

That looks pretty damned fun, although I can also see why people would be upset as well. At least for some reason it's a lot less annoying to me in a go-kart than the people who do it in my neighborhood on ATVs.
I'd just hate to be the recipient of all the vandalism once people figure out which one of those houses he lives in.
