Got some new wheels for my gti

I had been looking into getting new wheels for a while now, and I didn't want to get wheels that were extremely played out, or that everyone and their grandmother had like rs's lm's, and 3sdms. I happened to come across these blitz type 01's the other night for a price I couldn't refuse to pass up, what's everyone think?

IMO silver is one of the hardest colors to make wheels look good. It seems like polished, chrome, black, or silver (sometimes white) are about all that look decent on a silver car.

I was thinking like a gunmetal grey color, I had my bike powdercoated that color a few years back, and I still love that color, I'll see if I still have a picture of it somewhere

Gunmetal could definitely look good. I don't understand why people hate on black wheels so much in general.. They look damn good in the right application, obviously not just spray bombing your stock wheels black is gonna look good but a lot of aftermarket wheels would look good in black IMO.

sounds like your solution is bags bud:thumbup: they would look good once youre low and with just a little bit of stretch haha gunmetal might actually look good but only do the centers and polish the lips:thumbup:

Well I still live at home with my parents, so when I move out, which I hope to do relatively soon, it'll get a decent drop lol. Im personally not a fan of bags. But that was what I was thinking of doing. The one wheel needs some love desperately, one of the po's curbed it pretty bad, the lip is screwed. So eventually I'll get new lips if they actually are 3-piece like the kid that I bought them from claimed.
