pinstriped tail lights and a shaved tailgate... I see the late 80/90's stopped by.

Dood, that's a score and it shouldn't take much to get back on the road. How'd you apply the CLR?

We may be kindred spirits with the survivor look...here's mine when I picked it:

And here it is after getting it running:

Thanks! Yours looks like a fun truck too. I mixed 4:1 water to CLR and just went to work with a regular scotchbrite pad. Because of the crazy amount of surface area, I plan to try to put one on a DA or polisher after I get it running to make shorter work of it.

Went home from work due to snow:

Working on Caddy. 2 questions. Any tips on the easiest way to get this seam-sealer off, and is it possible to snake the engine harness through the firewall without cutting it or pulling all the pins out of the big connectors?

Took out dash, heater box, booster, cables, etc. Still have to remove steering rack and snake engine harness through the firewall:

Rust spot I was talking about:

Only other rust hole I've found yet, in the passenger side floor pan, about 2 inches long:

If work is called off tomorrow, I plan to finish emptying bay, strip all the paint in the bay, treat all the rust, clean front inner fenders and we'll see what else...

There most likely is the same amount if not more on the inside.
Yes I'm aware thanks.

Snowed in and can't go get some of the tools I need, so doing some light-duty but tedious work today.

After stripping and wetsanding. Will polish when I am able to get out of the house :)
