2002 jetta 2.0 has a spudder every once in a while while idling. Have had some codes for a while. Today i picked it up from getting the windshield replaced, and when i started it the CEL was flashing and it felt like it was misfiring hard... it went away after about 30 secs. I took it to advanced and plugged it in. I got these codes:

P0101 Mass or volume air flow A circuit range performance.

P0172: bank 1 system too rich

P0420 Catalyst below threshold bank 1

P0171 Bank 1 system too lean.

I have had P0171 and P0420 even longer. But the other codes are new. Where should i start? MAF? i have cleaned it a few times and doesn't seem to help.

Thanks.

Did you rescan after you cleared them?

One of thosemay be old a code?

unplug your MAF and drive it for a lil bit, if it runs better then your MAF is bad  and as far as a possible misfire, LIGHTLY mist your coilpack then let it idle and if you can see any arcing then its cracked and either needs replaced/jb welded. also couldn't hurt to pull your plugs and check them out, might be time to change em.

Yeah try this MAF trick first. Check your spark plugs while your at it because it could be an O2 sensor, coil pack or a combination of those things.
