Looking to get some Fast Hayaku wheels (TE37 reps) and I have been unlucky finding specific answers so looking for help. These wheels are as titled, 18x9 with a +35 offset and I'm looking at possibly getting the H&R Sport springs soon. Does anyone have this wheel size lowered? How far are they going to stick out? Will they require fender rolling? How much stretching will there be? They do have a 18x8 et40 but I'm worried they won't be concave enough for me. Thanks in advance

You're going to rub like a monster.

I'm flush with 17x8 et38 with 235 45 17 with rolled fenders and -2.5 camber in the rear.

Front - I'm nearly flush and I have rolled fenders. Even right now, you're sticking out over an inch.

Rears - You'll stick out roughly an inch. Not sure how low those springs make you but it won't be a fun ride when you take a hard corner.

Yes our cars suck with concave wheels. I've been wanting to find some real TE37s and the 8in ones have almost no concave. It's sad.

I'm running 19x9.5 et40 with a 235/35. I'm on coils and lower then the sport springs would go. No fender rolling and never rub up front. Only the rear with people in the back seat over big bumps. Ur setup would poke 1mm less then mine. U would need to run some type of stretch on tires. What size tire are you thinking of running. Its a doable setup I think.

I've added camber and raised it a bit since the last 2 pics.

Your car looks similar to mine except I believe my current wheels are 19x8 et35 and I'm stock height. I do have a small stretch going on too.. I would prefer them to just barely poke past the fenders but I'm not seeing it with any TE37 reps. This is aggravating

Its on JOM coils. Theyre actually not too bad. I plan on getting the fronts and reals rolled a little and then I should have no rub. Ive thought of doing a 225 tire but I think that will be too much stretch. I think his setup should be fine as long as he runs a slight stretch. I've also raised it a little since the last 2 pics. It sits as the first pic now but with some camber in the rear.

Yea it does. Thats pretty funny. I love the TE37 but yea theyre offsets dont really work on our cars. Not if you want the nice concave look. My wheels came off my totaled B7 A4, thats y my specs are what they are. Im looking into getting a less aggressive setup so I can go a little lower. But since they were in the garage I figured y not.

Yeah I think you're right.. What do you think would be my best bet width and offset wise without sacrificing drivability?

Yeah I think mine are also too aggressive and I personally don't like 19's on the Jetta. Just a bit too big

I would think the 9 would be more concave so if thats the look your going for then thats what I would run. I personally love the look of wide wheels...then again what car guy doesnt.
You don't think I would have rubbing issues? I don't want a crazy stretch either. How concave do you think et40 would be? I really want to keep as much drivability as possible.

You only really need like 1 lung... I'd just sell the other.
The struggle is real when you're parting out limbs and organs for car parts.. lol

Have you considered wobble bolts and running a 114.3 wheel. Wheeldude has Rota Grids in a 5x114.3 18x8.5 et44 which should be perfect fitment on our cars. ECS sells wobble bolts to allow you to run a 114.3 pattern on a 5x112. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=33KljLVvTM0
I've heard that they aren't all that safe. Plus I'm planning on getting into some autocross events in the near future

A 9 inch wheel with a 40 offset is going to be 6mm less poke then my set up. Im not sure how far mine poke past the fender but its not as much as it looks in the pictures. I would say your wheels would have minimal poke. Also remember you are going to run sport springs which wont put you as low as I am.
