been watching youtube videos but any suggestions would help. personal stories ect. we have sh*tty weather in the winter in alberta too. Haven't taken delivery yet and second guessing the stick. she is fired up about it but i'm a bit worried as i think she is too. am i over thinking this???
Good: just bought a '15 GTI Autobahn M6 Bad: Wife doesn't know how to drive stick...plz help

Sounds like she's willing to learn? If so, then what are you worried about? Get her behind the wheel and teach her! I promise that there are some of us ladies out there who can, and enjoy, driving a manual transmission 
If you are wondering about ways to teach her, start with the basics. Find a big open parking lot and stick her in the drivers seat. Get her to start and stop. Over and over until she gets the feel of it. Then move on to shifting into second gear. Just gotta start basic and work your way up. It may take some time, but if she's willing to learn, she'll get the hang of it.
