98 Jetta GT with some miles on it. Blue with horrible tinted windows but she passed emissions with ease. I'll be taking pics later but whoever had it before did a horrible welding job on the wing but everything else is working so far. I found out my dome light stays on in 2 switch positions and my fog lights don't work but in order for them to work you pull out the light switch correct? Could be a switch issue right? Oh the roof antenna was not there but the PO used a normal antenna so it looks like I'm trying to go back to the future.

OH and also had a heck of a time finding the OBDII plug. Thank goodness for that decal under the steering wheel telling me where to look. I was super pissed off because neither the tech or I couldn't find it, thought I got taken on the purchase of the car.

Yes you pull the switch out for the for lights. You could pull the switch out and test for power to make sure that the switch is or is not the issue.

The switch was simple....make sure all the fuses are plugged into the fuse box. Time to go thru them all and make sure they all have the correct sizes too. I can't believe it was that simple. Next up will be the famous cruise control.
