What does the remote flash do?

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Gonzo will flash the car from Delaware over the internet. I don't know if he still offers this though.

I've asked him about the remote flash and he said I should just send my ecu in. Didn't really promote the remote flash route. Which I think would be way more convenient

Got Stage 2 programmed locally. Feels great except cant get it to go over 16 psi. Could be car.

It also will not pass NJ inspection with his tune on the ECU. My mechanic/ NJ Inspection/ High School buddy says happens with tunes. Said it was because the Fuel System registers as N/A sensor when scanned and it MUST show ready. I didnt want to have to MAIL it out to Gonzo and because I have a AWW with IMMO2 i just swap it out with a stock before inspection. Getting annoying but only every 2 years.

Gonzo if your watching this thread, send me pm so I can get this fixed just don't want to have to ride around on stock ECU for weeks, Ill go GONZO... pun pun
Maybe theres something wrong with your car. I'm tuned by Gonzo and know a few others tuned by him that pass NJ emissions just fine. And we have no trouble getting past 16psi

Yes the boost issue could be car but not emissions. Def the tune. It passes when I install a stock ecu. Just annoying to have to swap every two years.

Intake and fmic hold boost till 30psi. Fuel pump and injectors are only parts moot replaced yet
I sent him email yesterday.

Nothing wrong with the ecu, mine does the same with my mass inspection, actually my car can no longer get a valid inspection because it's red flagged for evap and sai "not supported" needs to read "ready" or "not ready". I have his emissions deletes and he tunes them so there "not supported" which doesn't pass on Ma no more

Thats what I figured. Probably the o2/Test pipe delete. Although if I get it tested with the Tune it also shows the Fuel system as NOT SUPPORTED. Stock ECU i swap says Ready. I dont understand what others have done besides get it tuned somewhere else. i consider myself lucky because I can swap my ecu without an issue since i still have IMMO2 cluster.

Still want to get my boost issue resolved. Not going to jack this thread with that.

Let me note, I don't have a o2/test pipe file. Simply a sai and evap delete. Both my evaporative system and secondary air system read "not supported" which it should read ready or not ready.

Different states different regulations bud

Actually if you look back in history NJ and MA usually do the same Crap. so if one switches the other does too usually.

I was talking to the guy that failed NJ emissions bud

Did you take it to state testing or private? What year is your car?

WHen did you get it tuned. My file is from 2012. His tune file has changed 3 times since then.

Haha makes no difference between state and private, the car has to be hooked up to the states computer to print a sticker even at a private location.

I got my tune in March, so that would probably be the reason.

Well, if MA failed me last month. Then if there the same, be prepared to fail for no sai/evap support in tune. I passed last year with no changes to the tune. This year I woulda been flagged no matter what he told me.

Just got my f23 tuned tweaked alittle bit since it was running real rich. He took some fuel out down low and added boost up top. She spools even quicker now and boost hits hard. Guy tunes real well!! Love gonzos tunes. And for anyone who says he's hard to get ahold of. Try and get him on here while he's online. Seems to always respond to me quickly.

I previously had the stage 2+ and loved it, now I have the GTT Annihilator with the stage 3 Tune. It rips hard. I Recommend Gonzo to everyone.
I bought the GTT annihilator kit 1.8t and it does not rip hard. Something is up with mine. It only boosts to 5 psi and when it does decide to boost past this, its only for a second then it drops to 0. It also seems to spool too early, 1st gear, take off from a stop and almost immediately the turbo spools to 5 psi and my engine stutters. I have not been happy since i got this, ive spent too much trying to figure out what's wrong and im leaning towards the software he installed. But i never hear back from customer service. I wouldn't mind some advice because i dont want to give up yet. Although unitronic sounds sweet.
