Sorry to hear that.

I assume no warranty and all sales are final?

Have not checked but pretty sure I am not going to be satisfied regardless. Was expecting better than the smallbumpers for the extra cost but looking at some other threads those come with plastic caps, rubber strip and clips to hold the caps on. Have not seen any close ups of those so I can't say for sure how these compare though.

Damn those are poor quality small bumpers, I've been looking for small bumpers myself, Im from Mexico, and smallbumpers.mx seems to be one of the best looking replicas in market, there is another seller Kevitz Bemart, from Mexico too he is selling also good quality small bumpers and more cheaper than smallbumpers, but I dont know if he ships wolrdwide.

Whoa. Foam rub strip? Fiberglass end caps? Bad paint and damage before even putting them on? What the heck is going on here?

Those look like $50 worth of metal and plastic at best. Scary. Thank you very much for the photos.

Wow very poor quality. Thanks for posting the pics. I think I'm going to order else where
If the black bumpers look that bad I can only imagine what the chrome ones would look like, maybe wrapped in tin foil?

I hate to knock on the quality of someones product put if your looking for something better fitting and better looking go with something else.
I recieved mine and they looked similar to the ones posted above. I ended up getting mine powdercoated and modified pieces because I didn't want to deal with trying to send them back. It was a PITA to get them to my house in the first place. (USPS sucks!)
The end caps have no way of clipping on. I may junk these end caps and get some OE or plastic repops.
The finish looks to be spray paint or something. Easily marred. Scratches easily. light spots throughout. Would probably rust.
The rub strip is foam help on by some cheapo double stick tape. Looks like the ends were glued to stay in place.
The turn signal lenses don't fit behind the bumper and hit on the body of the car. Not letting you put the bumper brackets in far enough to reach the bracket holes in the frame rail. *(i modified my bumper brackets)
On top of that u have to bolt the brackets on lightly then bolt the bumper to those brackets. The holes for the bumper brackets are about 2" too wide on both sides. The reason you have to bolt the brackets to the car first is because there are no nuts welded to the inside of the brackets like a stock bumper would have. (i welded mine)
Seller claims stainless hardware.... not stainless.
All in all not worth the price.

Buyer beware. Seller is nice and gets back to you quickly just the product sucks

anybody have any detail pics of an OEM euro or quality set? I'd like to see the caps and strip in detail for a closer look at what I actually want to end up with. My front bumper has plastic caps and strips but it is the US style. Have never seen an actual euro up close.

The bumper setup from mexico (http://www.smallbumpers.mx) are def much cleaner finish than those. The end caps are plastic and the rub strip is made of actual good quality rubber. Those caps and strips look gross :(
Should have went with those, cheaper and I could have dealt with drilling the mounting holes/brackets which seams to be the biggest complaint with the smallbumpers. I figured these would be the same thing with better mounting so that's why I paid the premium. I have not tried to put these on my truck (who would in this shape? My truck isn't even nice but still...) so mounting may still be an issue. Will post up once I try just for some additional feedback for anyone. Not trying to be a dick or anything just displaying what I received.

i have been thinking about ordering a set of these lately, i have a set of mx euro bumpers on a different mk1 and the quality isn't 10/10 but it's way better than what's pictured.

I got one of the first few sets he made in MX like 2 years ago and it was a bit of work to get them mounted cause you had to drill the L brackets. We have since gotten two more sets in the last year and the seem to have change the design a bit . The new ones go on alot easier  we had them on and mounted in like 35 mins:D

Im here! First of all im really sorry youre not satisfied, the guys that ordered have my number and could have text their concerns, yes the quality of the paint its not great, but if you want them powder coated, i could also do that as well for extra, and no way did I lied as far of the paint! The price its really low and they are not junk as you all stated, I can definitely work something out with the unhappy customers if I would have been asked to do so, but i never got a text or a call stating the fact of disapointment, I made it clear that it was better to reach me by text and both buyers were aware of that, as far as the installation and the fact that the signals do not fit, I disagree as I mounted the exact same ones with no issues, I even offered to make a video of the installation to one of the buyers so it be clear the fitment its proper, of course everyone has a saying but nobody took the time to reach me and express their concerns, otherwise i would have solve their issues with no problems, if anyone is interested i will post or text a video of installation and the real quality, as they did show some poor signs of quality, but keep in mind usps takes no care of their packages and they did suffer some damage, but honestly, if the buyers were so unhappy why wouldnt they reach out to me? I responded to every single message I received from both, it is not fair to just come here and trash my add without giving me a chance to make it better! These bumpers are made from the same material as the oem, yet the black its cheaper paint and it does reflect in the price!

Was not my intent to trash you or your product. I felt your pictures did not show detail of all the pieces and planned on providing those to other members before I ever received the bumpers. (I was expecting this to actually help you at that point as several people were asking for more pictures and info) When asked questions I answered honestly and tried not to be too harsh as I had not spoken with you about them. I have been unable to test mount because of the weather and my schedule. I have been waiting until I am able to do that before posting my final thoughts and contacting you to figure out what it would take to make me satisfied with the product. I'm not one to try and start anything on a public forum, I'm just a fan of transparency and in most cases that benefits everyone.

From my initial impressions I can tell you that the fiberglass end caps and foam rub strip hurt your product the most. If the mounting works well and the caps and strip were plastic/rubber I could personally deal with / forgive the poor paint finish as that's an easy fix. Will be happy to discuss more in private or via text once I try mounting or feel free to reach out to me before hand if you prefer.

Well said. Your point on transparency is spot on.

Sadly I think the OP's reply just dug his hole deeper.

Hoping they fit well and you can get them to work to your satisfaction.
