Re: is this good enough for waterfest??? (cheesegti)

You should have shaved the rear handle holes before spraying - if you're entering a show class you'll get marked down for that. I love the wheels, if i can ever find a cheap set i'll store them for a future a2 project. In the UK a LOT of people are all about fitting crazy bumpers from other cars - like a lot of other peeps on here, not my thing, but you can obviously see someone put some effort in while doing it.
I say, yeah, take it down to WF, it's only $35 to enter the show or free to park it in the parking lot for people to look at there

I'd like to see how your dash modifications came off, and to see the wheels on the car.
Of course, if you slammed her to the weeds, shaved EVERYTHING and got rid of the airbrushing, you might be able to cause some bigger waves.....

ok, i wouldnt ever build a dub like that. not my style. but, i do like what you did and i give you much respect for the time and effort into the car. i really like seeing dubs with some different style... takes some balls to do honda stuff on a vw http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

yo it lookts tight, but i have to agree with not miss matchin the Japanese parts airbrush looks insane (i like it) and i would go with round head lights looks cleaner to me. and if you get an wild hair to repaint it try a german theme like beer or somethin would get my full vote then:beer:

Originality: 6/6
Effort and time: 5.9/6
Beauty: 4/6 I like the side airbrush ... the hood one is so-so. The wheels are great, the bumper ok but the back one shouldn't have things that protrude ... a nice equal finish would look better. The front bumper with wasp grid .... maybe you could find something that flows better with the car and the color.
Maybe you could go all the way in your concept with a P-Flow (assuming it would be also useful

) in the hood with the dragon breathing fire through it ...
Anyways ... just my personal opinion ... keep working hard ... You like your car? That's what is important!
You get the respect of everybody for all the originality and work. Even if not everybody likes it. Waterfest http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif
At least you'll be able to show it ... and after all you worked hard to show it no??
