Hi,
anybody who knows where is the problem in my roof? I have a new roof, new rear cable, but it looks bad :( I don´t know what can I do with it. Some tips? Many thanks

Need some better pictures, but I think that your problem is that you didn't pull it tight enough at the corners to seat it correctly.
You didn't make the feed-thru bisectional cut.
You didn't insert the Steel rods (ok aluminum) into the bead at the bottom.
The New cable may not be tight enough.

Everything I know about tops is on Page 3 of the FAQ's post 75... well almost everything.

Really need to see the rear left and right sides of the windows from the front and rear, then the top seal.

Rear cable is correct, but when i make to tight on the sides I saw crample.
I have I crample on the both of sides :( On the picture is right side behind window.
I want to have flat roof on the sides, but I don´t know what to do for it.
Can you send me link for thread?

REad my Signature there is a link.

You have to Pull the Sides tight, and Glue them.
You have to then use a pop rivet to set the corner.

If you can't find Page 3 of the FAQ's Post 75, then you could also try.
More Fecking Top stuff than you need to look at.

Sides I glued. Tube I have here too,but is shorter than your.
I will try once more change corner pop.
That Tube, is longer and you have to trim it. I was showing you where the Top should be in relation to the side frame with a "pop" rivet.

What does your other side look like?
Is it Puckering too?

You can unglue the sides that you have glued on the side frame, you use a little brake kleen with the Nozzle extender and spray it under the vinyl. Be mindful of Paint, and when you start to peal the vinyl off the side frame go easy.......

Here is better photo ofthe right side without plastic cover:

Inside the roof is this cloth, I don´t know what is that. I have it free inside, no some screw in it.

And here is left side, is better than right, but not perfect. It should be better a think:

Tube in the roof don´t look pretty(on the left side i means).

Roof Material wasn't positioned properly prior to the Cable being tightened.
The corners aren't sitting where they should be prior to tightening the Cable and setting the corners.

Take off the rear frame seals and trays. Loosen the vinyl, unhook the Headliner from the fingers both sides.
Loosen (slacken but don't remove) the rear cable and pull the slack around both sides, which is why I suggest that you grease the cable tray prior as well as the cable itself.. Then reset your corners.

If you have set your rear window, then all bets are off as there is going to be too much material draw to over come possibly.

It is better, but still not perfect.. :(
I don´t know what is wrong

Other side is perfect, but this is not good
Is the top fully latched?

Get a 3/4 shot of the top I need to see the top of the top and the left quarter as well as the top and right corner.

The reason is I have to see the Top of the top, the rear window and the sides to guestimate what is up.

like these

Ok, now I need to see the rear frames and were the top is.
I need to specifically see where the pig-tail seal is (not the seal but that small corner of where the top is in relation to the frame.

you means pic without top layer in the rear, or what?
Ones like this for both sides.

Then a shot of the latched top on the "a" pillar.

You need to pull the sides down a bit that should take out some of it.

Look at the difference in the rear frame of yours and mine. My sides sit lower.
Now you will get some puckering, but you are getting it mostly out.
You have to also remember that the Top will shrink a wee bit. So you want to insert your steel wire up the tube and cut it off so it tucks under the
corner cover. I am thinking that your corners aren't low enough on the frame....

mine.

You could just live with it as it looks amazingly well done for a first attempt.
