MK4 Gti 1.8t Exhaust Options?

Hi, I'm new here, I have a MK4 Gti 1.8t, looking to get an exhaust system. I was looking at techtonics tuning and they have this one that looked good. It is a 2.5" full stainless steel cat-back exhaust system with a borla muffler. It is $620, but I was wondering if thats a good option or if it would be possible to get a better system, for the same price or less. Here is the link to the system that I saw.

Not everyone knows how to search the forums. Just help the guy.

Techtonics systems are a good choice, but if you want performance gains and are ok with spending a little bit more money i would go with apr or billy boat (actually the same system but with different prices)

whatever make you decide to go with, get a turbo back For sure, i got a 3 inch 42 draft design turbo back with also a 3 inch down pipe. it sounds amazing like in my opinion its the best sounding exhaust you can have with a 1.8T motor

This. Just be aware that if you go with the 3 inch tbe from 42dd and I'm pretty sure all the other companies, it's gonna be loud and a bit obnoxious. I have the 42dd 3 inch turbo back and I love it, but when you get on the gas to pass cars or accelerate from a ramp or whatever, it sounds like your trying to show off because like I said it's pretty damn loud (especially in tunnels :D) I personally very much enjoy the loudness of it but it's just something to consider. Best sounding exhaust for the 1.8t though. 42dd:heart:

I had a question, with the 3in tbe does it fit well with the car, or will it?. I have a 2003 gti and want to know if it will tuck right in there or if its gonna be a you know what! Also my car has a cut out valance so will it fit well in that? Keeping the car clean is very important to me!
