Or stick with turbos?

Now... I haven't been around turbos very long... but I've never ever seen a turbo that could take a 115hp engine up to 350hp. The most I've seen added is about 75hp. I don't care what anyone's product specs say... it just doesn't make good sense. |

One word: how? It's not just a turbo is it? It's going to have a stand alone fuel system, underdrive pullies, all kinds of stuff asside from a t3 or something. Almost certainly have a different clutch/flywheel in it. I've read some of his posts, and notice that he goes through heads pretty hard. |

That's the point I'm getting at. You can spend twice what the car is worth and have a damn fine race car. I've got no idea what the original poster is wanting to do with his car, but there are limits that I try to keep folks aware of. |

If you just want a daily driving car with a little more pep, don't want to break the bank... do the usual... p&p, cam, ex, chip, oh... and change out all the motor mounts to some polys or something. You do loose a lot of torque from engine movement. If you do decide to go FI... change your head gasket out for one that was meant to handle the compression change. |
