man with all the bs led's and cosmetic roof racks people put on these cars putting cosmetic tips would be the least of my worries.

They sound great with the stock GLI exhaust makes it deeper and so much better than the stock impossible to keep clean crome tips.

go for it, looks better than stock, you like the sound, who cares about whatever else. Personally I'd prefer without the logo, but seriously the stock tips are a nightmare to keep clean so whatever.

I know APR tips can. Not sure about fitting them to stock pipes though.

The 2.5" inlet fits perfectly and the clamp is totally hidden on top.
The 3.5" outlet is a little bigger than stock and has to be staggered but I like the look.
about $150 for 2 shipped
Looks like the decals could be removed but I like em.
Stock tips are tough to get off I had to grind off the spot welds and cut them in half to remove.
Not to be a dick but I don't see how replacing just the tips would make much of a (if any at all) change in exhaust tone.

I get it, but just like buying BBS reps and putting BBS emblems on them. Walking up at a car show and someone ask you, oh is that a real akrapovic exhaust? No I just put the tips on....
I'm just not on the same boat as other people and would actually like to own the real exhaust, wheels, etc then fake it.
