My friend and I we were having a coffee and just chilling with some girls at LaPaloma last night when an unmarked adn two marked police cars came in at around 11:45 and started kicking everyone. We were one of the last people to leave because we waited until the cop actually drove up next to us to tell us to leave. At that point my friend asks him if he can finish he's coffee before we leave so that he doesn't spill it all over himself. The cops tells him, as I sh!t you guys not "Shut the hell up Junior and get in you car and get the hell out of here!".
My friend got pissed jumped in his car and started reving the engine around 6Gs(that car is a '93 civic winterbeater). The Cop freaks out, jumps out of his car and starts running towards me friend. I thought that the cop was going to for sure kick my firends ass. He gets to the car and asks me friend "Liscence and Registration you little punk! I'm gonna give you a nice expensive ticket Junior!". At this point i can't belive that I have dumba$$es as friends. But it turned out that this was all planned!
My friend, aftyer being told to hand over his papers, turn to the cop and sais "Sure officer, but first could I get you name, rank, and badge number, so I can fill a suit on you for verbal harassment(probably spelled it wrong but i'm typing quickly so live with it). Anyways, the cop kinda takes a step backwards goes to his car, checks my friends papers and returns them and says this "I'm sorry for being impolite and have a goodnite!" I started to laugh my ass off as we drove off.
I can't believe my friend had the balls to do this!! Holy crap!

There is a first time for everything. Caus the cop could have easily gave him a 150$ ticket for excesive noise.

I don't consider "Shut up junior" to be an appropriate response to "Is it ok if I finish my coffee", especially from a representative of the city whos salary is paid by the taxpayers. and Fantino wonders why there's such a large anti-cop sentiment nowadays

Re: Funny Stuff (Terragen)

Your friends lucky. The cop could have let him go and then called one of his buddies over to administar the ticket.
I'm deffinatly gonna pay more attention to what and how they say stuff to me.

That's exactly why he got away with it. Don't you guys understand. With all the anit-police sentiment going around, cops have been instructed to be on their best behaviors.
And you know what. Shut the hell up IS verbal harasement and it WOULD stand in a court. He has no right to tell you that especially if you are just chilling having a coffee! If it was after he reved than that is acceptable but for no reason. There was no provocation.

Beenie quick question where did you buy the coffee?? were you in the parkinglot of the place where you bought it? if so then he shouldn't have come over to you at all? Me and my buddies used to go through this all the time that the old country style on Hurontario beside the Police HQ. as long as you keep buying coffee then you're a customer and they have no right to harrass you.
