Ready to change the oil in my 1.8T, this is my first 1.8T, so I need some suggestions on what oil to run. Price is not an issue.

Not to flame you or anything or start a flame war myself but: look up at the top of the screen on the right side accross from VWVortex Discussion Forums and click on the search button. Every person on ehre has once asked/posted about oil.

dick.... People like to use the Mobil 1 synthetic 0w-40 European blend, very good oil. Cant remember any others off hand, you can use redline, I don't think it comes in 0w-40 tho. There is a guy that did a test on used oil samples from a lot of brands to see how well they work, I will see if I can find it. They sent the oil to a lab to get analyzed.
