Got the battery in the trunk and the car starts.
Now, to clean it up, I would like to get a distribution block that will handle the wires for the accessories to clean it up a bit. Anyone have any ideas on an all in one block? It's got 5 cables to it, 2 bigger ones and 3 smaller ones. Any help would be appreciated.
TIA.

I'm thinking he is working on having better weight distribution on the car? I don't know how effective just moving a battery would be, but I can see where its going.

IMO cool, but a waste. If you wnat to do a nice distribution block, buy any high end audio one, that will be fine.

why put the battery in the trunk?

Most people do it to free up space in the engine compartment. Sometimes for a air-to-water IC, or super-duper misting kit... Maybe for some FMIC work, but on our cars I doubt that. Or to put your lunch box up there so its warm when you get to work.

mzdaklr,
You may need to put two side by side for all five of those leads.
Check out http://www.partsexpress.com for a distribution block. They carry a wide variety of inexpensive car audio/electronics products. You will likely need two 4 ga and three 8 ga inputs, no? Maybe a couple of these:

Monster Cable makes nice distribution blocks, too, check them out at http://www.monstercable.com.

The car-b-que idea is good, didn't think of that, but for the most part you are all wrong. It's for the DAI, or Dave-Air-Intake. Pics to come. Still can't find the distro block I need though, I want this to look good, but it's hard since no one really makes a 5 wire block with 2 big, and three small. Pics this afternoon of the setup.
