Ride, noise, and handling are fine, so what would be miserable about it for one person driving long distances on the relatively small amounts of fuel that it uses?

It would be boooooring to drive that much.... I drive a lot for work ... Know every single song on the radio and then some

every sirius station plays the same 8 songs over and over.
I know, because I used to drive 8-10 hours a day as well.
besides the fact that it's compressed and sounds like crap.

No, he had a tax writeoff of $408,555 (assuming your calculation is accurate) only if he had the income to offset it (around 100K a year if he does 200K miles a year). Which I'm assuming if he drives 16 hour days 5 days a week he would. Either way that would amount to at best a 35% income tax savings so really only about $143K
Still nothing to laugh at because I'm sure his actual cost per mile is less than the 50 something cents the IRS allows.

oh, ok, I guess I read it wrong. Yeah, that's definitely the better deal since you get the .55/mile tax free vs a deduction that's only worth 20-40% of that :thumbup:
