i had my ecu out last night to check the code on it to purchase a backup. everything came apart real simple and i had the ecu out in minutes. when trying to put everything back together, this trim shown in the picture, i can not get it to sit flush with the windshield. it used to sit flush but while taking the ecu out, i had poped it up some, and now cant figure out how to get it back down. need some advice!

there is a plastic screw that doesnt really screw in..just kinda pops into place when you turn it (just like your engine cover's plastic screws). try holding the piece down on the windshield as you screw with the other.

there aren't any screws...it's just a crease, think of it as a "zip lock bag", all u have to do is align the plastic right. if u look close at the lower part of the windshield u'll see where the plastic clips into. also, it might be easier to do with the hood up. good luck

edit: the plastic screws you are thinking of were used in the MK3 models, not the MK4's
