I just got a recall notice in the mail about my coilpacks.....is "L" the one they're using to replace now?

just had them do the coil packs on my 03 awp last week. They look identical to the above pic. Mod friendly dealer for sure. Tech purged my BOV entering the shop

and he threw in a set of NGK BKR7E for me while he had the coils out. He was even cool enough to give me a free green top coolant sensor. No charge for the plug install(brought my own plugs of course). Car seems to be getting better gas milage now and mid range and upper rpm power is much better with the BKR7E(much better suited to NV 100+ summers)

It is sooo sad you never seen them, they are Hitachi ones from AWD.

I was under the impression that AWD's had the hitachis and the rest got the newer ones. Do AWW's have holes for the bolts that would hold the hitachi coils in?

the hitachi's are for awd only
the aww does not have holes in it...
and the new revision is the J
but the L is pretty much the same thing, at least from my experience...I have both

the hitachi's are for awd only
