Hello... today when I came home from school (JMU BABY!), I went to start up my car and the battery was dead. No big deal, I thought, I could just jump it and everything would be okay. Well I jumped it and was driving around town to recharge the battery. As I was driving, I noticed a lack of acceleration and a less than smooth engine feel. I thought this was just a symptom of the car sitting for about a month at my house, so I pulled into a neighborhood to let the car maybe "warm up" for a little. So as I drive into the neighborhood, my car's display says "ABS FAULT," then says "AIRBAG FAULT." Not too long after, the battery light on my dash illuminates and my power steering and braking is now shot.
I made it home okay (thanks Mom), but don't know what the hell is wrong with my car. Could it be a faulty alternator? Battery? Coil Pack? I have no idea. Granted I had a miniscule amount of gas in my car at the time, but the fuel gauge didn't register all the way empty. Would an empty tank cause this problem? I don't think it is that though, because the car's electronics wouldn't work after it stopped. Hopefully someone can help me out, because my car is in a neighborhood and I dont really want to leave it there. Any comments/ solutions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif
And a pic for more hits
