      I saw your original thread in the Golf/GTI forum last week, so I went out and got these and installed yesterday:

      $2.48 US, plus the washers were about $0.80 each. I got 4 of those, and I'm using 2 currently. I'm in about $6 (not counting the anchor because I have tons of those laying around).
      
      
      Nice little mod, thanks. I pulled the pedal spring out while I was under there, too.
