The day I brought it home. Lowered on coils, Rotiform BLQ 18×9.5.
First on the list of mods was this eurosport FMIC and piping.
Next came the TIP, CAI and motor/trans/dogbone mounts.
The car was approaching 200,000 miles so I decided to do a rebuild on the 1.8t with some goodies. Forged IE rods, Autotech intake cam, power pulleys, gates timing belt, manual tensioner, sai/evap delete, closed system catch can, silicone boost hoses and a big port intake mani off an AGU 1.8t with adapter plate.
The intake mani got sent in for powdercoating while the engine was removed and rebuilt.
Everything was hot tanked and new. ARP hardware, calico bearings. The old bearings were in such good shape it was almost a waste to replace them. 200k miles and literally no sign of wear. Plastigauge said they were in tolerance but they were replaced anyway. I believe this is good testament to being very well maintained. The head was refreshed and the cam was installed with OE springs and valves.
The motor was now ready to make some horsepower. I began acquiring parts for a K04-023 turbo (audi tt 225 fitment). Its a daily driver and I was looking for 300hp-ish. After talking to doug at Frankenturbo I ordered his f23 kit. I was able to find a NEW TT exhaust mani and I sourced the other parts needed to make it work. Let me tell you...it was a chore.
Exhaust is a 3in system from 42DD with a K04 fitment downpipe. I'm also installing this HUGE 6in filter with a 6x3 velocity stack
Busch Light can for scale. It barely fits. I did a test fit after purchasing to make sure.

Turbo parts installed 12-23-20. Still going through the Tuning process with Motoza. There is a fueling issue at high rpms that still has to be sorted out. Updated pic of the engine bay after install.
Interior got some attention. New R32 dead pedal, new OEM GTI floor mats, replaced the e-break button, new window and door lock switches and new interior door hardware. The front Recaros were rebuilt and door cards got re upholstered in OEM Atlas Laser Plaid
1.8t, AGU intake mani, Audi TT 225 exhaust mani, 6in filter, 6x3 bell mouth, 3in MAF, Frankenturbo OS TIP, F23 Frankenturbo (K04-023 fitment), IE forged rods, Autotech 195 intake cam, sai/evap delete, fmic, neuspeed power pulleys, 80dm motor/trans/dogbone mounts, bosch 550cc injectors, DW 265 fuel pump, R8 coilpacks with adapter plate, Motoza software, HKS turbo timer, 02M 6speed transmission, new OE "vr6" clutch, new axels, OE differential (for now).
Rebuilt 20th Recaro seats covered in Atlas Laser Plaid, new door hardware, interior switches and brushed interior bits.
Roof rack, window tint, new OE badges
Pioneer dvd in dash, Kicker Hideaway 150w 8in sub/amp, Alpine speakers.
Glass OE headlight covers, PIAA LEDs arround, city lights, smoked turn signals
42DD stainless 3in turbo back, test pipe, rear o2 delete, magnaflow muffler, 4in tip
Raceland coilovers, H&R sway bars, ECS upper strut bar, front end suspension refresh with HD mounts and camber plates. Vented Zimmerman front/rear rotors with new pads. Red calipers.
