Hi everyone, I bought a car, but by virtue of it being used, I decided to do some maintenance for it, as I changed the engine oil and some filters, but during computer detection, it became clear that the catalytic converter needed to be cleaned and it was clogged to some extent! Therefore, the...

Hi all, Looking to purchase a stock downpipe for my 2009 GTI. It is a CBFA (California Emissions) version which has three O2 sensors instead of two. Looking to avoid welding in a third on a CCTA unit for sake of cost. Would be willing to trade my Integrated Engineering Downpipe. Located in...

anybody know what the best or cheapest way to trick my oxygen sensors into thinking I still have cats is? seen some stuff about using spark plug non fouler fittings to move the sensor further away from the actual exhaust but idk how reliable a solution that is.

Hi all. I'm new to the forum and here's the short story... I'm trying to figure out the potential cause of a code P0420 (bad catalyst code) which is popping up on my ODB scan tool before the oxygen sensor test completes. I suspect it's a bad oxygen sensor on Bank 1 (the right side) but I...
  10. Jetta/GLI VI
I have an aftermarket downpipe on my 2017 Jetta 1.4t that doesn't have any catalytic converters. I'm planning on selling the car sometime next spring but I am worried that whoever I try to sell it to will not be able to pass emissions. What would the best option be? Are cats with 02 bungs pre...
  11. Corrado
This is something that I've wanted to do for a while, and when I saw that Evan and the guys at 42DD started making high flow cats, I asked them to make one for my Corrado. Considering they had never even seen a Corrado cat, the fact that it fit perfectly is rather amazing. Link to their site...
