One of the very few things I thought looked better on the SE R-Line Black trim. Fake wood is stupid. I don't dislike them enough to try to mod though.
I thought about that since I did chrome delete on the outside. Difference is it has to be perfect inside since the eye will gravitate to it since you’re just staring at it. Now rato decide on matte or glossy blackmy thoughts just go to vinyl wrapping them if you dislike them that much. Simple and easy way to cover them. You can do it yourself.
so I took some time today to use 3M 2080 matte black Vinyl wrap (1080 wasn’t available in matte black) and I don’t think it came out that bad, very pleased with the outcome. After chrome deleting the outside with 1080 this didn’t seem as daunting as it could’ve been. I think I got the edge perfect where the LED light is but I won’t know for sure till the sun goes down lolAnyone know of a way to cover up these faux wood trim pieces on driver and passenger door and also by the glove box? They look out of place with the black interior. I saw the glove box trim cover on Ali express but don’t. See any for the doors? Any ideas/thoughts? View attachment 270257

I know the pics are dark but I took them quick before I had to run back into work
Nope. My door trim is the dark gray leatherette that matches the dash. It's an R Line Black so I have the dark interior with the light off white seats and door inserts.
