In all the auto rags I read, they were saying the new Tiberon, with all the extra cheese and toppings would be under $20k. Then I saw one in the lot today. It had everything but the 6-speed and they were asking $25k for it...HA HA. Thats only $1k less then the new 350Z. Crazy. That was dealer mark up (MSRP was below $20k), but still, for that car its a waste.

heh. As good as the new Hyundai's seem to be, I don't think they've earned the right to the MVAs just yet.
Keep in mind that the Nissan dealer will probably also push the 5-10k MVAs on the new Zs. My advice, if you like it, wait for 6 months or so when they'll be receiving a regular supply of 'em.

W/out the 6 speed? So it was an Auto? Automatic Tranny usually increases the price, but not over $5k!!!! If this is seriously what they are asking, the Tiburon has the same fate as the VW Corrado when it was new...

That dealer is a fool. No way it's going to sell for $25k, even with a V6 and 6 speed. It is a Hyundai after all.

My friend test drove (he liked it a lot) and priced one at a dealership. Came out to $20k, loaded to the gills.

I test drove a fully loaded Tiburon GT V6 6-speed this Saturday. It is a great car and the MSRP for it was just over 20K. 25K is just wrong.

Ya, the funny thing is that the auto show has yet to make its appearence here. So, I cant really see why the dealer did this. Plus, this is Ford country here, the Korean market is not in its favor.
Also, I thought the 6-speed tranny was still more then the automatic. So, if thats right this guy will be selling these cars for $26k? That makes me laugh.

they can keep it ... for 25k if I was gonna ignore the whole German build thing I love I would have spent the $$$ on a nice 01-02 v8 Mustang or WRX and spanked that Tiburon every which way
but alas ignore German quality i cannot otherwise I would be frequenting the WRX forums
