Hi folks, my wife and I just picked up our latest VW, an 08 6-spd Passat Turbo, and I noticed the seat on it's lowest setting is still way too high.
I'm 6' and my wife is 5' so she didnt really notice it. I sat in the passengers seat (manual) and it ratchets really really far down, much lower than the drivers power seat.
Our salesman even said the technician who "PDI'd" it wants to do more tests on it the next time we drop it off because even he thinks it's incorrect.
Anyone had any experience with this? I'm planning on dropping it off in a week or so when we have time to see what they say at the dealer.

We noticed our new 08 drivers seat is higher than or 06's. Nothing that can't be compensated for though.
I think they're trying to snag some SUV drivers.

I don't have issues with the seat height, but yes I noticed it's kind of high in the "lowest" setting.
