Will a 1.8 exhaust manifold fit on my 1.7 EN engine, I broke some studs and can seem to get them out...
Yes, I used search...and it sucks and not yeild an answer to my satisfaction

EDIT:
Yes the MKII manifold will fit, the down tube will not.

the mkII will fit however the outlet is offset to the mkI version

My other MKI had a dual downpipe...

Got to see pics of your down pipe to be 100% sure. Are the studs in the manifold 8mm or 10mm? If 10mm you have a euro manifold.

mk2 1.8 manifold will not work with any stock mk1 manifold

A machine shop should be able to get those out for you, if you don't have the tools.

What ppl are saying is it will fit the head, but the downtube will contact the firewall if you use a MKII manifold.
I am using a manifold from a MKI 1.7l (with dual down tube) on my 1.8l motor and head.. it bolts right up and it isn't very restrictive. Find a mk1 manifold!
