into the stock cat-back. Very fun and powerful when wide open, and very quiet when closed (and still good gains since it's a 3" downpipe).
I found mine for about $350 used (barely) in the classifieds about a year ago.

APR 2.5 TB, slightly used, got an even exchange for my stock exhaust

good power gains...i didn't expect much from just an exhaust on a turbo car, but it was suprising

2.5" no-name downpipe with HFC, 2.5" Techtonics Tuning CB with Borla muffler. Noticed a gain all around. Sound is just right IMO, not too loud or quiet. Nice low growl when tooling around town, quiet and no droning on the highway (exposed tip), and it screams when you get on it.

be careful with the quicktime electronic dump tube...or any electronic dump at that....the electronic motors have a strong tendancy to freeze up and stop working due to the heat...it has happened NUMEROUS times to a hell of a lot of people...so you are forced to deal with the open exhaust while you try and talk to quicktime about the broken electronic dump, which as many have said takes a long time, with no success on getting a replacement...i have yet to hear of someone getting things straightened out after the motor has frozen up on them.

Had a fair amount of lag before the DP w/ the "snorkel modded" shaved airbox w/ a K&N panel, but that is now gone.
Sound is just right!!! http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif Kinda why I wasn't looking @ a full TB. Take the 20th stock exhaust, drop the frequency a little, get that nice deep sound @ partial throttle. WOT, still nice, not a hint of fart-can.

Mine is about a year old and still seals off fine (and I bought mine used). And if you do have touble you can just take the motor off and put a plain plate over the cut-out.

i understand that some people have not had any issues...but on the other hand...alot of people HAVE had issues...
i just couldnt justify spending all that money on a downpipe that is know to have issues...
so i went ahead and weled a Y into my APR downpipe and make my own dump tube with a steel plate...have had it on the car for about 40k miles and havent had one single problem with it...seals up when i put the plate/bolts in...and works perfectly when the plate is off...and it cost me about $30 to do and about 20-30 mins worth of welding. http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif
