So finally this weekend I got motivated to attack my tach and solve the problem of not enough numbers on it. After building the new engine which sees 8500~9000 the old 7000 tach was rather useless. So here is my approach to solving this issue and still retaining an oldskool/OE look.
Basically retrofitted the guts from a generic 10000 rpm tach, scanned and photo shopped a new face plate, got the fine people at Kinko's to print in on a label paper and put it all together.
