Hi,
I was wondering if anybody knew offhand if VW's 10 year/100k warranty covered front wheel bearings? The front wheel bearings in my car are getting a little noisy and I really don't want to pay for it out of my own pocket. My car has less than 24k miles yet is over the 2 year limit. Does anybody know how much it costs to replace them?

they are not covered under the 100k warrenty but you maybe able to get something from them since they are under 24k but over the 2 years that is WAY to soon for them to go bad I had my left front go bad at 45k and I though that was terrible I never heard of one going at 45k let alone 24k
if the dealer replaces them it will run upwards of probably $400 to $500 that is with parts. the bearings them self are $92 apiece from the dealer.

powertrain not cover bearings
Next week I will replace left front wheel bearing because bearing make noise.
I have only 27k miles on my car.My local VW shop (not dealer) will charge me 155$ including parts and labor.New bearing at dealer cost 110$.
