100 octane would not suffice (AFAIK). You would probably have to run it on alcohol or some sort of race fuel...unless you ran WAI as well. If you ran WAI you might be able to run it on 91...MAYBE...can't stress that enough but I am almost positive you could run 100 and WAI.

Well then, I recommend JP-8. JP-5 would work as well, but it's a little more pricey.

Rocket fuel won't work...it's just hydrogen and oxygen...
You need to call Boeing and get some Jet fuel!

The diesel has 23:1 compression
The newest common rail motors are around 16:1 IIRC.
