Can you guys post some pics of Mk1's with 17in wheels and ones with 16in wheels.....I want to get some wheels but dont know how much the 17in wheels will hold back the performance of the car. What are your opinions guys?

I debated the same issue and decided to go for the 16" because weight was an issue for me. The only wheels that were lighter in 17" than the 16" BBS RX I got were from SSR and OZ. I decided I didn't like the styles of those wheels as much as the BBS.
Basically look for worse gas mileage, a harder ride because there's less sidewall, easier turning ability, faster top end and slower takeoff the larger the wheels are. I thought 16" would be a happy medium.

if u make the 17s the same diameater as stock it shouldent hurt u at all right?
