I took my rear belts out to do some work on the side panels and now they are locked up they won't let out any slack.There must be some gravity device just in case of a roll over.Does anyone know how to reset the belts?

i think you just have to keep playing with them. pull on them really slowly and from different angles. i think they drove me crazy once too. i let them sit for a day and pulled on it like normal it came out. i was like wtf?!?!? there could be a trick to it but i don't know it.

The belts are designed to extend only within a few degrees of their installed positions. So if you are holding it in your hand, hold the belt in the same exact position in which it is installed in the car to get it to extend.
