today i took off my my 8v g60 head and started to bolt up the 16v head. then i noticed how much bigger the head is to the block is it going to possiable to use this set up?

The compression without changing anything is 6.5:1 or thereabouts, so unless you changed the pistons or rods, that's an issue.

my comp is 9.5:1 right now so it wont be a problem...but it should bolt up with out any problems tho right?

The G60 compression may be 9.5:1...But its gonna go way down with a 16v head on it due to the larger chamber in the head.

If its 9.5:1 on the PG currently, it'll be an easy-tune 8:1 with the 16V head. So good.

do you have any idea on how much work and custom fabricating is involved in order to build a 16v g60?

I think he was talking about physically putting the 16V on the PG block, not the actually process of converting to a 16VG60. I realize that the belts, crank ventilation, alternator, and all that shiit need work. No, its not like you bolt it up and go, but I don't think that was his question...I may be wrong though.
