I suggest you run a 225/40/18 size tire, 235 is too much especially for the front fenders. How low do you plan to go?

not really too much, im running 235/40/18 and my car is lowered about 2.25" up front. it does fine.
here's a picture..sorry it isnt a wagon tho.
suspension is h&R sports and neuspeed spec bilsteins set on the last notch up front.

It makes realy big difference, what is tire manufacturer. Some 225/ tires can be actuality 235/ wide. :confused...:

very true. the tire design can also make a difference in the overall width of the tire. some manufacturers are a bit thicker than others

I'd really suggest you go coil overs...you can lower car without going to really stiff springs like you have to when using stock strut housings. Those 40 series...bet the're ZR speed rated too will be hard as hell. How do you get away with that in the snow belt where the roads are like a war zone?
