1983 Rabbit Tranny

I found a 5 speed 1983 Rabbit
and i want to take the tranny but i dont know what the code is ?
THe most I got from it was "WW0 germany"

I think only the 84 A1 trannies will fit into an A2. The 83 and earlier ones dont have the rear mounting point.
Depends on the code though. See if you can get it off the bottom of the bellhousing

I thought they only made one mk1 5 speed ?
