There are a few build threads that I like to read through and see the progression of the builds. So I hope I can return the favor with my 87 build. Its going to take some time with a wife and a kid and bills etc, but hey I guess it will give me time to really think and "experiment." anyways on to the pics and plans.

throwing some parts on that I have laying around

red trim touched up in tornado red.

NOS small door mirror delete 1 0f 2 I have NLA in the US. ( did I mention im a parts guy at the dealership. )

ducts are somewhere around here.

Mirror delete on. now i have to get the correct door panel or the interior plug.

NOS Hella Heckblende.

all the side trim is now on and the lip has formed correctly after hitting in with a heatgun. also bought some gaskets for the head. It has a oil leak somewhere so I figure take it down and replace them all while im there.

I love this interior and hope to have something close. I have part numbers now i have to hunt.

I can fully appreciate a build when wife/kids/bills are a factor. Nothing wrong with taking your time. I started with the mindset of a 2 year build and I'm past that and no where near finished. Slow and steady is the pace for me. In for the long haul :thumbup:opcorn:

thanks for the responses. Ill post pics of work etc, now that i got some love. Im trying to track a oil leak its all over under the hood but I think its the gasket at the oil cooler. Its pretty common and the oil is gone quick.

mine to when I saw it on Craigslist I had to have it. my wife says im one car away from a divorce..im confused though I dont know if that means I can get another one or ...hmmm oh well we will find out

Ive got many of the electrical demons squared away. the person that owned this before did some shady shady stuff electrically.

example : hidden amp hot wired to the tailgate button ? wtf ?


should I do corrado steelies or polish the teardrop/silverstones ?
