You need to post more pics- especially of the rust issues- one of each side of car- one of engine bay.

Type of wheels, tire condition- How long was car sitting before you bought it...If car cannot be driven, and rust is bad- parting it out may be the answer...

Can anyone tell me how I could tell if the engine code is a KR or PL? I was asked this question but idk. I thought KR was only available in Europe.

The original engine is a 1.8L PL 16v. If you look on the block you will find a part # to verify for sure.
