Hey guys, I would like to know if the car is ce2 or not...much feedback appreciated.

Depends....there was a switch-over in '89. My Bentley shows when it was but it's out in the car and it's cooollllld outside so I'm not going to go grab it. I think it's after Jan '89 manufacturing date that it goes to CE2....that or you go by the VIN number.
If someone else hasn't got the exact answer by morning, I'll get it out of the book.
*page 35 in the electrical section, guys* can't believe I know that.....

What car..if its the ones you say you have, then yes, they both are...the VR6 and 2.0 16v are CE2 ...

Scary part is, SHE'S RIGHT.

Anyway:

Jetta fuse/relay panel.
It's also on p33 btw.

I think you can count the rows of fuses in the fuse panel. If there's only one row of fuses, it's CEII, if there's 2 you're screwed.
