I'm looking to buy a 94 Jetta and would like to run the Vag-Com on it when I look at the car. I know some 95 cars even though they are OBD I have a and OBD 2 connector. Is this true for 94 models? I dont want to have buy an adaptor connector for one scan.
Thanks!

Re: 1994 Jetta OBD I, but what interface? (vwrem)

The 94 Jetta although OBD I, has a standard OBD II connector. VAG-COM will work just fine. The connector can be found under a sliding panel beside the ashtray. remove the ashtray and slide the panel to the left.
