1997 Vanagon (no windows)
body is rough (as in little dents) but no rot through, but there is some surface rust

it was used for work purposes...just so you know
I believe 230,000kms on it, but need to confirm
2.5L diesel engine, it pulls strong...as in, there's 3 sheets of 3/8" 4'x8' plate steel in the back, with a load of MDF plywood, and it didn't hesitate to go link stink
fresh oil change & filter
needs a new windshield

edit: dad's decided he's going to fix it up & maybe use it himself. As if a 4th truck isn't excessive... :screwy:

This would be vw transporter(eurovan) 1 ton cargo van correct? With a 2.4 5cyl diesel

230,000k is low km's for one of these vans :thumbup:

These things can haul big loads and still get 7-900km/tank

sigh, dad's bought it himself and is going to fix it up...so it's (at the moment) not for sale...sigh.

I joked we should use it as a mk1 recovery/transporter and he gave me this look like I'd just had a stroke of pure genious... :facepalm:
