What years of passat had the 2.0l 16v and is this engine the same as the 90-92 gti 16v (9A)??? Wade

Passat 2.0 16V has the same engine (9A) than other GTI 16V 90-92 and Jetta GTX 89-92. This engine was available for 90-94 in USA, and 90-92 in Canada.

Sooo, what years of passat had the 2.0l 16v??? Are you refering to the passat or gti in your post...i wanns 2.0l 16v for my A2 golf...wanna know what years of passat i am hunting for........
