so what would not be really laggy and still make power... wouldnt it be just good to get a ball bearing 50trim with a either a .48 or .63 hotside... how do they compare to the gt30's and such....

my t3/t40b "S" trim with a .63 stage 2 exhaust housing...10psi 200whp 200wtq
at 24psi 320whp 329wtq..and that was smoking and in need of a rebuild.....

a gt2871 or 3071 will preform better than an old t3/t4 combo due to better wheel and housing designs..plain and simple and the bb centers last longer and take more abuse from surging....also water cooled centers last longer....

yea see thats what i mean with my car running rich and such with my rotomaster t3/t4 50trim i hit 289 and what ever psi it was at.... so how much better would gt28 or gt30 be.. would it still make as much power.. or just spool faster and still be able get up there in HP...

a 50trim trumps a gt28 by a long shot...a gt3076 would be a good upgrade to the 50trim...a gt3071 would sorta be an equal with a better spool.

maybe ill just stick with a garret 50 trim with a stage 2or3 wheel from ATP tuning

I dont like blowing off the tires at 3000 rpms and i enjoy where my power hits. i bought it for my own reasons. http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif . I do agree though that the 50 trim is the "norm" to go with and is more efficient for our motors and spools much lower. OP if you go BB either that Q mentioned above are 2 great suggestions..

well either way any turbo should spool at about 3000 rpms right? or atleast on these small motors... so its either i go 50trim stage 3 wheel or go all out and do the gt 3076. with the smallest hotside they have to keep my spool the same
