2.0L Crossflow head onto 1.8L block?

Hey guys... would the cross-flow head swap work? Do the oil and coolant passageways line up? Which headgasket should be used if one were to do this. I drive a Mk3 CL which shares more of it's vitals with a Mk2 than a Mk3 and I want to ditch my single injector mono-Motronic set-up (major power restriction) and go with injectors at each cylinder, so I'm thinking either going with the 2.0L head or a JH head with Digifant intake and 2.0L MAF, injectors and computer. Help me if you can.

The problem that I'd run into is getting the damn thing running... however, I figure since I'd be doing a Motroni/Motronic swap this wouldn't be as much of an issue as a Motronic/Digifant swap... I'm glad though that it is physically possible... anyone else know of these swaps running around?

Why wouldn't you swap the whole thing?

X-flow heads are getting pretty cheap because of the amount of people merely throwing in the bottom end and sticking with a Digifant head or a CIS head... so these parts become mere leftovers... besides, it's a CL pride sort of thing, we wanna see how much power the stock bottom end can handle
. We's cheap!

there is a shop called creative car tunes in Mechanicsburg, PA, thats the guys with the X-flow 1.8 bottom end yellow Cabby, you can call them up and ask them about it, they are really cool people.
i wish I had their number but I can't remember it, look it up, it would be worth your time for sure!
