The Performance Racing Industry Trade Show takes place in Indianapolis over the next few days. There's all sort of hot stuff on display but the little item that caught our eye was the TORQ SC 1500.
It's a V12 using twin Vortech centrifugal superchargers and air-to-water aftercoolers. The production engine will be released with power output ranging from 1,400 to 1,600 HP on premium petrol and up to 2,000 HP for racing versions! Sadly they're targeted at boats...

Torque Engineering currently manufactures three models of the lightweight, aluminum, 14 litre V-12 engines for the marine pleasure boating industry. These models are naturally aspirated with advanced electronic digital engine management systems, developing 900 to 1150 horsepower and 1050 to 1150 foot pounds of torque.
