Has anyone chipped one of these babies, does chips need to be programmed specifically for the AWP engines (not just use a AWW program)? Also, who supplies chips for the AWP and what kinda numbers can one expect?

Thanks for the reply.
I made quite a few posts in this topic http://forums.vwvortex.com/zerothread?id=161731, and I want to take my car for a dyno this weekend to see if it's okay.
Did you ever do a run with the stock car, no mods what so ever? What kinda figures should I expect?
I was think of APR too, do they put another chip in there or do they flash the chip that's in there? How do you switch between the two differant programs?
Could you possibly email me the graphs?

hi Peter,
no i never did a bare stock run,i couldnt hold the excitement of making it
go faster.as far as APR goes from what i understand they replace the OEM
chip with a small circuit board with a chip,which im guessing is why you can
switch between programs,but i was going on a rough idea from what others
had as a baseline which was roughly 156 hp at the wheels.and for switching
programs you do it through the cruise control stalk when your car is off and
key on.the dealer should tell you how to do it when they are done but thats
the main idea.any other questions feel free to ask.
